About the Event
Some moments on a motorcycle make you feel alive, focused, and completely committed. Adventure Crown brings riders together for exactly those moments: mud on your boots, a story to tell, and people who get it. This August, that community met in North Haverhill, New Hampshire, for the first one of these.

You love riding ADV bikes. Maybe you've done a BDR, maybe you're planning one. You want a weekend that's more structured than a trail ride, with riders who get the obsession. No prior competition experience needed.
The rider who wants to know where they stand
You're comfortable off-road. You've taken some training, maybe a few rallies. You want to measure the skills that actually matter on a real adventure ride: control, line choice, judgment.
The seasoned rider
Years of seat time. Maybe you instruct, maybe you compete. Your runs are something other riders can learn from just by watching. The format rewards showing up sharp.
Adventure riding is better with someone beside you
At Adventure Crown, riders can take on the challenge alongside a riding buddy. You each ride your own bike and face your own modules, but you aren't doing the weekend alone. You have someone to talk it through with, laugh with, calm the nerves with, and share the story afterward.
A team is not about being carried by someone else. It is about showing up together. It is about support, judgment, communication, and the kind of trust that matters on real adventure rides.
We also recognize the Best Team, so if you and your buddy want something to aim for together, that award is yours to chase.
Competing as a team does not take away from your individual ride. You can still be scored as an individual, just like everyone else. Or, if you would rather focus on the team experience and not worry about individual ranking, that is completely fine too.
Riding buddy, spouse, dealer teammate, training partner. And if you came solo, you are just as welcome. We help every rider find the version of Adventure Crown that works best for them.

A competition built from modules
The competition runs as a series of modules. Each one is its own challenge. One might test slow-speed control on a rocky switchback, the next might bring you to a sand pit.
Check-in
Show your license, grab your rider packet, get your bike inspected.
Rider briefing
Schedule, format, safety rules. We walk through everything before anyone rides.
Module rotations
You rotate through modules in groups. Half rides, half scores, then you swap.
Finals
The top 5 riders from each class compete on the final course. Previous scores do not carry over.
Awards Ceremony
The top riders in each class and overlay receive their awards and sponsors' prizes.
The ride/record rotation
Each group splits in half. Half rides while the other half scores. Then you swap. You get to watch how other riders handle the same obstacles before it's your turn. Scoring stays honest because riders are recording it themselves.

How scoring works
Ride a module cleanly, earn points. Make a mistake, lose some. Everything's published. You'll never wonder why someone placed higher than you.

The basics
- -Complete a module cleanly and you earn points
- -Dabs, boundary violations, missed gates. Each has a fixed penalty, no judgment calls
- -A-lines are harder routes with bonus points; B-lines are the standard route
- -Scores go up throughout the day. You're never in the dark
A/B Lines
Some modules have two routes. The A-line is harder but worth more points. The B-line is the standard route. Pick the one that matches your riding.
Compete against similar bikes
Adventure bikes vary massively in weight and power. Classes ensure you're compared against bikes that are genuinely similar to yours.

How you're ranked
Everyone in your class runs the same modules with the same scoring. The only variable is how you ride.
Your class is based on the bike you compete on, not your experience level.
Ride smart. Gear up.
This isn't a send-it competition. We reward control, and we take gear seriously.
This is what you need to compete. Gear gets inspected at check-in. If you don't meet the requirements, you don't ride. No exceptions.
- Full-face ADV or motocross helmet with goggles, safety glasses, or a helmet visor.
- Full-finger gloves.
- Motocross or ADV boots (no work boots or low ankle boots).
- ADV jacket with back armor, or a motocross chest protector with back armor.
- Pants with built-in or stand-alone knee protection.

Gear gets inspected before the rider meeting. Module managers will keep an eye on it throughout the day too.
